 TARA opens a day-care center!

Separating a child from his/her family shall always remain a measure of last resort after all other alternatives have been explored. And some dramatic family situations which had led to the placement of children in TARA Homes could have been avoided with an early intervention in the families. Based on this experience, we, at TARA, are expanding the range of our services for vulnerable children in Delhi. We are opening our very first non-residential program: TARA Outreach Centre.

 Our impact studies

We have been working hard in order to measure the impact of TARA’s actions in the children life. In 2018, we launched a quantitative study to measure our impact regarding the education and the health of the children and a qualitative study to evaluate the feeling of safety of the children and their social skills.

 Save the earth with TARA!

Children from the different homes had the opportunity to participate in environmental activities to raise their awareness of this immense challenge, which India is directly facing. The TARA Girls have setted up a play on this subject.

Family bonding of children at TARA

TARA ensures that the relationship between the child and his or her family can be maintained or even strengthened as regularly as possible. Bringing siblings together in the different houses is, as such, one of TARA's priorities.

TARA Tots have moved in a new home!

The TARA Tots took advantage of the summer school holidays to move out. They left their former neighbourhoods to get closer to the TARA Boys who had also moved last fall.
