Endless joys these last months!

You have been many to contribute to the Christmas’ pot of the children, thanks to all of you! Look at the video of the children's colorful Christmas in the park.

The TARA Boys and the TARA Girls were spoiled by an adventurous Santa Claus who gifted them a whole equipment to explore the Himalayan mountains. Indeed, all the TARA Boys, the TARA Girls as well as Shlok and Simran (deans of the TARA Tots) went on a winter camp near Rishikesh after a week of intensive study to finish their holiday assignments.

Rafting, hiking, biking and outdoor games left staff and children exhausted but delighted by this getaway. Thanks to the generosity of Air France Foundation who made this trip possible!

Back in Delhi, the TARA Boys returned to their studious French classes, read what their teacher has to say about it.
But in Delhi, the TARA Tots did not wait for the return of their elders to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Home on January 16th, 2017 with a lot of balloons, dances and cakes…

Later, they found a new opportunity to celebrate as two of them, Simran and Shikha, are now ready to be welcomed for new responsibilities in TARA Girls! The Tots prepared a great party for them and after a short transition period, Simran and Shikha are now well settled in TARA Girls.
And because big changes at TARA do not concern only children, we are pleased to announce that Basanti, former Project Manager of TARA Girls, is now in charge of the TARA Boys project. Hasina, former Child Welfare Officer at TARA Girls, has been promoted Assistant Project Manager and is now in charge of TARA Girls’ project, which she joined in the very beginnings.

On the Big Birds' side, Sunil has now completely recovered from his ear surgery. Read more about it.
TARA Girls today welcomes 17 girls: in addition to Shikha and Simran, Sania (7 years old) and Sanowar (7 years old) have indeed be welcomed in the Home and joined the famous jiu-jitsu classes.
On the Tots’ side, the two brothers Chandan (6 years) and Nandan (4 years) are the new mascots of the Home!

It is also possible to support all the children of one Home by contributing to our most urgent needs. Contact us at tara@onyva.in to know more about it.
